ABOUT ME!

Magnús Magnus Magnússon is an Icelandic/American on-camera personality, television producer, and professional traveller. He has been to over 75 countries and is known for showing up to the airport alone on a whim and getting on a plane to obscure destinations.

Magnús grew up in Iceland and Washington D.C. raised by his father, a television presenter and spokesman, and his mother, the deputy chief of INTERPOL. He was encouraged from a young age to explore the world, starting with international solo trips in middle school. He completed high school early in order to move to London to attend the acting program at RADA and later to live in Paris to become fluent in French.

He keeps his passport with him at all times, often spontaneously driving to the airport to fly to a new country with no friends or plans. Magnús’ interest in different cultures and ways of life drives him to explore the extremes of human experiences, from being strip searched in Israel, to drinking in the slums of Brazil, to being deported from Belarus

Magnús studied Drama, Film Production and Entrepreneurial Business at University of Southern California. While in school and to fund his travels, he worked as a Ford Model. Instead of interning during the summer, he moved to Bombay to try to break into Bollywood. Magnús started his career in television working at The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He has since appeared in shows such as The Late Late Show with James Corden and Tosh.0. When not producing or travelling, he does standup at some of Los Angeles’ most famous comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store.
